As we all continue to adapt to the ‘new normal’ it is important not to forget that we are still living in the height of a global pandemic. River Aesthetics continues to adhere to government guidelines and we remain dedicated to mapping out the best patient journey for you while maintaining your safety and wellbeing.

Since re-opening we have seen more than 800 patients in the clinic, as well as more than 100 virtual consultations, and we are proud to report 0 cases of Covid 19.

For staff and patients, we have implemented in-clinic protocols that have been successful since re-opening. When you come to the clinic we ask that you scan our NHS Covid-19 Test and Trace QR Code. Please continue to observe these measures so that we can keep each other safe.

Temperature Check

When entering the clinic, we’ll just need to check your temperature using a touchless, infrared thermometer.

Patient Screening

To limit the number of people in the clinic at any one time, appointments will be staggered for the foreseeable future. If you’re unable to get an appointment, we’ll do our best to slot you in as soon as possible.

Handwashing and PPE

When you enter, we ask patients to utilise the hand sanitiser provided. You’ll also be asked to put on a facemask if necessary.

Limited Opening Hours

To reduce the number of clinicians and patients in the clinic, we’ll be operating limited opening hours for the time being as part of the first phase of our reopening.

Pandemic Cleaning Regime

Our approach to cleaning already meets very high standards, but we’ve gone one step further. Extra cleaning measures have been added to sanitise surfaces and touchpoints throughout the day, keeping you and our staff safe.

Solo Attendance

With the exception of parents/ guardians, we ask that all patients attend their appointments alone so as to keep the numbers inside our clinic to the bare minimum.

Keep Your Distance

We ask that all patients comply with social distancing while inside the clinic. To ensure the 2m distancing measures are observed, wall and floor signage are being introduced. Distancing measures do not apply in the treatment rooms for obvious reasons.

Employee PPE

Rest assured that our team will always be wearing the correct PPE. This will include face shields, gloves, and aprons during treatments, and masks for the remainder of the time.

Contactless Payments Only

We regret to inform you that cash payments will not be accepted for the time being. When paying, we ask that you pay by credit/ debit card only.

Patient and staff safety are important to us. Before we reopen, know that the clinic will undergo a deep clean. All surfaces, tool, and linens will be cleaned and disinfected, regardless of whether they were cleaned or not before the shutdown.
