IPL SKIN REDNESS TREATMENT

IPL Skin Redness Treatment

There are a number of different types of vascular lesions, such as telangiectasias (broken thread veins), spider naevi (blood spots), port wine stains and rosacea. At River Aesthetics we can treat these vascular irregularities with the M22 machine.

Collagen stimulating skin treatment

Combining three high-tech machines in one, the Lumenis® M22 Resurfx treatment offers many kinds of skin resurfacing and enables us to achieve excellent clinical results over a sequence of treatments whilst keeping your comfort maximal and downtime minimal.

The unique fractional rejuvenation technology of the Lumenis® ResurFX allows for non-ablative skin resurfacing, which means it treats the layers of skin under the surface without damaging the surface itself. The M22 machine is able to treat over 40 skincare problems including rosacea, port wine stains, freckles, acne, age spots, sunburn, melasma, stretch marks, scars, birthmarks, thread veins and more. It can also even out skin tone, treating fine lines, pores and other signs of ageing. This state-of-the-art laser provides unrivalled resurfacing results, completely transforming skin and also stimulates the production of new collagen in the deep layers of the skin giving the patient new, radiant and youthful skin.

The M22 laser machine uses a specific wavelength of light which pulses through the skin’s surface, targeting the desired area in the underlying tissue and helping to reduce redness at a deeper level. IPL light can be used to destroy the visible blood vessels, which make the skin appear red. These vessels are then reabsorbed into the body. IPL also stimulates new collagen production which is thought to have a benefit for those suffering from rosacea.

In the treatment of skin redness and broken blood vessels, the laser causes the pigment to break down into smaller particles, before rising up to the surface of the skin to flake away as part of the body’s natural healing process. Contact River Aesthetics today to find out more about the Lumenis® M22 Resurfx and book your complimentary consultation.
