Consultations – at a glance

The charge for a consultation is £100 with Dr Woodward or Dr Manning, or £50 for one of our aestheticians led treatments, which we ask to be paid at the time of booking.

Following your consultation, should you proceed with any treatment, this fee will be refunded to you at your review appointment following your treatment or can be redeemed towards facial treatments, or other treatments where a review is not necessary.

Should you be unsuitable for treatment for any reason, this will also be refunded to you following your consultation.

We accept all credit and debit card payments including Amex. We also send you a text reminder 48 hours in advance to remind you of your appointment date and time.

Booking policy

When booking treatments for any River Aesthetics clinic, a £50/£100 deposit will be required (£50 for all aesthetician treatments and £100 for doctor led treatments), this is due to a rising number of ‘no shows’ and ‘same day’ cancellations, we are having to take action in order to provide these appointments for other patients.

Cancellations

  • Your deposit will be deducted from the treatment but will be required again, if you are
    wanting to rebook an appointment
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for either our Bournemouth or Lymington clinics, we ask for 48 hours’ notice.
  • For our London clinic we ask for 72 hours‘ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • For a major procedure such as a thread lift and bookings of 1.5 hours or more, we request 72 hours’ notice at all clinics. This enables us to respond to the now very high demand for our appointments.
  • If you do not show up for your appointment, your £50/£100 deposit will be invoiced as a ‘no show’
  • If you cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than the required time, your deposit will be invoiced as a ‘late cancellation’ as we are unable to offer that time to another patient.

Treatment suitability

We will always assess whether a treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out.

If a treatment is not suitable or likely to be successful, we will explain the reasons why.

If we feel a treatment is not suitable for you, we will not charge you for the consultation and your deposit will be refunded.

We will also not go ahead with a procedure if we feel that your expectations exceed the results that can be achieved through that treatment.

Treatment offers

Please note that offers must be redeemed at the time of booking and purchase and cannot be claimed retrospectively.

We reserve the right to end an offer at any time.

Offers are non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for another treatment or monetary value.
